The deadline to register for the 2018 Mars Area Centennial School Science Fair is extended through Friday, Feb. 9.

Interested Mars Area students in Grades 5-6 may sign up online at www.marssciencefair.com/centennial/. The Science Fair will be held from 6 to 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14.

The goal of the activity is to stimulate imagination and independent thinking; increase students’ knowledge in a variety of scientific areas; teach the use of the scientific process; train students in organization and major task completion; and provide an opportunity to enjoy science. Mars Area Elementary PTO sponsors the annual event.
