Sixth-graders from Mars Area Centennial School will share original children’s books, from approximately 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Mars Area Primary Center and Mars Area Elementary School on Monday, June 4.

As part of an annual language arts project, the sixth-graders were asked to write their own fractured fairy tales. The students started by brainstorming ideas; then wrote a draft; edited and revised their stories; and, finally, illustrated their own children’s books.
