Mars Area School District will commemorate Red Ribbon Week, Monday, Oct. 24, through Friday, Oct. 28.
Students at all schools (K-12) will be invited to join in the following theme days:
- Monday, Oct. 24 — “Don’t Get Tied Up With Drugs Day” — Tie dye colors
- Tuesday, Oct. 25 — “Voting For My Future To Be Drug Free Day” — Red, White & Blue colors
- Wednesday, Oct. 26 — “Don’t Get Mixed Up With Drugs Day” — Mismatched clothing
- Thursday, Oct. 27 — “Your Choices Are the Key To Your Dreams Day” — Pajamas and comfy clothes
- Friday, Oct. 28 — “Our School Chooses To Be Drug Free Day” — Blue and gold colors
The purpose of the annual event is to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs and alcohol abuse. For more information, contact the individual school building.
