Mars Area School District will commemorate Red Ribbon Week with the following theme days:
- Monday, Oct. 27 — “Staying Drug Free is No Sweat” — wear workout / sweat clothes
- Tuesday, Oct. 28 — “Team Up Against Drugs” — wear sports team jerseys
- Wednesday, Oct. 29 — “Sock it to Drugs/#bethekindkid” — wear crazy socks / #bethekindkid apparel
- Thursday, Oct. 30 — “Too Bright for Drugs” — wear neon or bright colors
- Friday, Oct. 31 — “Don’t Let Drugs Trick You” — wear Halloween colors (orange/black)
The purpose of the annual event is to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs and alcohol abuse. For more information, contact the individual school building.
