Mars Area Centennial School will kick off its PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Supports) program with a school-wide assembly at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 24.

Pittsburgh Pirates in-game host and motivational speaker Joe Klimchak will speak with students (Grades 5-6) about how determination and kindness can help make the impossible possible.

Students will also be reminded about “The MARS Way” — Make good choices. Always be kind. Be Ready to learn. Stay safe. The school initiative recognizes and awards students for positive behavior.
