Several Mars Area Centennial School students recently completed Rubik’s Cubes mosaics of Albert Einstein and Jackie Robinson.
The students worked throughout the school year to solve 3-D combination puzzles. Using that knowledge, the students worked from a template, solving one side of each Rubik’s Cube to match each section of the 15-by-15-cube mosaics.
Participating students included sixth-graders Soleil Herbst, Brett Kelly, Jackson Kotula, Clara Lukasiak, Luke Reinhart and Brynn Williams; and, fifth-graders Coali Bonus, Jackson Everhart, Beckett Front, Preston Musser, Asher Pesanka, Joao Pinto, Jacob Shebek and Isabelle Tang.
