Mars Area School District elementary students (K-6) will have the opportunity to participate in Mars Area Elementary PTO’s “March for Mars” walk-a-thon at their school on the following dates:

• Wednesday, Oct. 6 — Mars Area Primary Center
• Thursday, Oct. 7 — Mars Area Elementary School
• Friday, Oct. 8 — Mars Area Centennial School

The events conclude the PTO’s annual “March for Mars” fundraiser, proceeds from which benefit the organization’s support of educational programs at the District’s elementary schools.

(Note: In the event of a walk-a-thon event cancellation because of inclement weather, all contributions will be considered a donation to Mars Area Elementary PTO.) For more information, visit www.marspto.org.
