Girls Scout Troop 52725 is sponsoring a Used Crayon Drive through Friday, March 31, at Mars Area School District’s elementary schools (K-6).

The troop is collecting used, broken, or unwanted crayons to benefit The Crayon Initiative, which melts down, remanufactures, and sends the refurbished crayons to children’s hospitals across the country. 

Troop members are Mars Area Centennial School sixth-graders Josie Blazevich, Ella George, Avery Harrison and Maya Keller; fifth-graders Everly Henderson and Makayla Kinneer; and St. Killian School sixth-grader Anna Wishart.
