Mars Area Centennial School will offer Miniature Golf Course Family Nights for sixth-graders and their families from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 21, through Thursday, Feb. 23.

Parents/guardians may sign up for a Tee Time via their student’s classroom teacher’s Schoology page. Only one tee time is permitted per family.

The event will offer an opportunity for participants to play the 12-hole miniature golf course that was designed and built by the school’s sixth-graders as part of the cross-curricular project.

In November/December, sixth-graders worked in groups in their STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art Mathematics) classes to plan and build a single miniature golf course hole with a specific theme. In their physical education classes, sixth-graders learned more about how to properly putt a ball and score a miniature golf game.
