In the evening  on Friday, Feb. 24, Mars Area School District was made aware of rumors involving a threat to Mars Area Centennial School.

District administrators immediately contact Adams Township Police Department, which has fully investigated this matter and deemed this rumored threat to be “non-credible.” Please note that, at no time, was there a threat to the health and safety of the student body and/or staff members at Mars Area Centennial School or in any other District buildings.

We would like to thank our local police department for their quick and diligent response to this matter. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as Mars Area School District strives to remain proactive in the protection of our students, faculty and staff members.
