Students Artworks Featured in Annual MIU4 Exhibit

Winter Red Bird by Maryjane EichenauerSeveral works by Mars Area School District students received honors in Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV’s 2023 Arts Exhibit, held March 18-22 at Grove City College’s Pew Fine Arts Center.

First-grader Maryjane Eichenauer was selected for the Melanie Turner Creative Expressions Award for her work, “Winter Red Bird.”

Juror’s Choice awards were presented to junior Adam McElhinny for “Untitled,” fifth-grader Kadins Fetterhoff for “Thiebaud Cake,” fourth-grader Dolly Searle for “Birch Trees,” third-grader Elijah Will for “Lily Pad,” second-grader Emma Cyr for “Seasonal Trees,” first-grader Caleb Tak for “Fall Leaf Prints,” first-grader Kenan Badrane for “Fall Leaf Prints,” and kindergartner Xavier Smida for “Polar Bear.”
