Sixth-graders from Mars Area Centennial School shared original children’s books with students at Mars Area Elementary School and Mars Area Primary Center on May 23.
As part of the annual project, sixth-graders studied narrative genres including fairy tales, fractured fairy tales, fables, superhero tales and myths. Each student then selected a genre; wrote and edited their narrative; and published their original tales into hardbound books.
At the culmination of the project on May 23, the sixth-graders had an opportunity to share their hard work with other students in the District. For more information, call (724) 625-2601.
