Mars Area School District is excited to announce that all students at the District’s elementary schools (K-6) will be eligible to receive free breakfast during the 2023-2024 School Year through the Universal Free Breakfast Program.
Earlier this month, the 2023-2024 Pennsylvania State Budget was approved with funding allocated for the continuation of the program, which is available to all Pennsylvania schools that participate in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast programs.
Note: Mars Area High School and Mars Area Middle School do not participate in the National School Lunch Program; therefore, the District’s secondary students are not eligible to receive free meals under the Universal Free Breakfast Program.
