Mars Area School District will hold a “Purple & Gold Day” on Friday, Sept. 8, to show support for Karns City football player Mason Martin, who was severely injured at a football game on Sept. 1. 

All students and staff members are encouraged to wear purple and gold, Karns City’s school colors, to honor Mason and the Karns City community.
