Youth Lacrosse Teams Compete in Tournament

Two Mars Youth Lacrosse Association teams competed in the 2023 Graveyard Lacrosse Tournament, held Nov. 4-5 in Canton, Ohio.

Mars Youth Lacrosse Association’s 12U Team (above) and 10U Team (below) competed in the 2023 Graveyard Lacrosse Tournament. The 12U Team went undefeated (5-0) and won the championship game. Team members include Mars Area Centennial School sixth-graders Ben Balawedjer, Caleb Beck, Reid DeSanzo, Linus Immel, Caden McCurdy, Luca Mirabile, Jake Rice and John Schlie; and fifth-graders Blake DeMao, Hayden Letherby, Dylan McKenna and Myles Siegfried.

Mars Youth Lacrosse Association’s 12U Team (above) and 10U Team (below) competed in the 2023 Graveyard Lacrosse Tournament. The 10U Team went 4-0 in its division. Team members include Mars Area Elementary School fourth-grader Brady Boronyak, Carter Knowlton, Avi Liben, Benjamin Mascari, Beckett Mayes, Declan McGettigan and Loen Stewart; third-graders Seth Desanzo and Archer Furman; and second-grader Landon Meyers.
