Mars Area Centennial School will hold its 2024 Science Fair from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 7. 

The competitive event is open to all Mars Area Centennial School students (Grades 5-6). First through third place ribbons will be awarded as well as awards for Best Oral Presentation, Most Creative Topic, Most Scientific Project and Best Overall Project. 

The goal of the annual event is to stimulate imagination and independent thinking; increase students’ knowledge in a variety of scientific areas; teach the use of the scientific process; train students in organization and major task completion; and provide an opportunity to enjoy science.
