Two Mars Area School District elementary schools are holding individual fundraisers to benefit the American Heart Association through Friday, Feb. 28:

• Mars Area Primary Center — Donations will be accepted online at https://www2.heart.org/site/TR?pg=company&fr_id=11256&company_id=489043 or via the Kids Heart Challenge app
  
  
• Mars Area Centennial School — Donations will be accepted online at https://www2.heart.org/site/TR?fr_id=11257&pg=personal&px=28849642 or via the American Heart Challenge app

Throughout the fundraiser, students will be learning about proper heart health, while participating in heart healthy activities in their physical education classes. Students will also be asked to collect donations for the American Heart Association.
