Mars Area Centennial School will hold its Parent Orientation on Thursday, Aug. 28.

The evening will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Centennial School gymnasium, where you will be welcomed by Dr. Adam Kostewicz, principal, and given an introduction to the 2025-2026 School Year.

Classroom presentations will follow, starting at approximately 6:45 p.m. This event is designed to provide the opportunity to follow your child's team of teachers and gain a better understanding of the course content and objectives. Please note that this evening is for parents/guardians only.

Orientation Schedule:

6:00-7:50 p.m. — 5th Grade Band Introduction with Mrs. Redmond (Cafeteria)
6:00-6:30 p.m. — "Welcome Back" Presentation by Dr. Kostewicz (Gymnasium)
6:45-7:05 p.m. — Session I
7:10-7:30 p.m. — Session II
7:35-7:55 p.m. — Session III (Q&A Session for only Byrnes, Dalesandro, Richards, and Lenzi)
8:00 p.m. — Conclusion of the Evening

6:00-8:00 p.m. — License Scanning & Car Card Pickup (Main Office)

Each teacher will present the same information during all three sessions. This format is intended to give you the flexibility to visit up to three different classrooms during the evening. Special area teachers will also be available to share information about their programs during all sessions.

Parking Information:

To help ease parking congestion, additional parking will be available at the softball field lot and along Officer Brooks Way. Please refrain from parking on Winfield Manor Drive.

This event is a great opportunity to meet your child's teachers and learn more about classroom expectations, policies, procedures, and curriculum.
