In the initial rounds of the competition, the team defeated Hempfield (A2) 6-1, South Park (A5) 6-0, and FC Wheeling Gold (A1) 4-0; and tied 1-1 with Mt. Lebanon (Clark)(A4). The team then tamed the Seneca Valley Leopards (B4) 3-1 in the championship final.
Team members include Mars Area Centennial School fifth-graders Sofia Airgood, Ruby Allworth, Samantha Beckert, Makaela Butler, Ella Fullerton, Ellie Mendicino, Evelyn Namisnak, Hailey Rodgers, and Cora Stimmel; and, Mars Area Elementary School fourth-graders Paige Diehl, Katherine Lynch, Kylie Mincin, Keira Tenos and Mia Tirado.
