Several Mars Area Centennial School sixth-graders competed in the Academic Games League of America (AGLOA) Presidents academic competition, held Jan. 8 at Slippery Rock University.

Sixth-graders Reese Carrel, Ellie Kurnocik, Hannah Nam, Benen Pears, Maxwell McEwen, Seth Pedicone, Kristin Sadhu and Alison White joined in the question and response game, which develops students’ understanding of the personalities, historical contexts, political decisions, and other events surrounding Presidents of the United States.
