Several Mars Area Centennial School students joined in a Wild Investigation, held March 18 at Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium

The activity, which was hosted by Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV, offered the fifth- and sixth-graders an opportunity to meet some of the zoo’s animal ambassadors and challenged the students to complete scavenger hunts and solve science problems.

Participating students included fifth-graders Jack Baumgartel, Cayley Chaffee, Alexander Chernykh, Hannah Craver, Lila Demetris, Asher Detore, Gillian Everest, Lucy Harrison, Bennett Kreit, Landon Lewis, Ashrith Muppala, Adalyn Stuber and Max Veneziano; and fourth-graders Noah Bergdahl, Luke Fecich, Kendall Fonzi, Jane Lyons, Eleanor McCauley, Angelo Navarro, Everly Northrop, Pranshu Thakkar, Charlie Xuan and Hannah Ziegler.
