Students to Join in New York City Performance

four up close pictures of young womenFour Mars Area School District students will take the stage for the “The Triple Threats of Tomorrow with Batavia Performing Arts Studios,” to be held at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17, at 54 Below, New York City’s Broadway-themed supper club.

Performers will include Mars Area High School junior Libby Schwartz, Mars Area Middle School seventh-grader Grace Carnicelli, Mars Area Centennial School fifth-grader Maggie Meisel, and Mars Area Primary Center first-grader Alledria Bauman. The students are members of Batavia Studios’ Triple Threat program, which offers training for students (ages 8 and older) in the three core disciplines of musical theater — acting, singing and dancing.
