Mars Area Centennial School announced the winners of the school’s 2026 Read Across America & National Reading Month Book Cover Poster Contest.

The contest asked students to re-create a cover from one of their favorite books. Winners are sixth-grader Eliana Kang for “What Once Was Mine” by Liz Braswell; sixth-grader Mya Vernon for “The Hunger Games” by Suzanne Collins; fifth-grader Everlyn Montgomery for “The Lightning Thief” by Rick Riordan; and fifth-grader Lillian Reddinger for “Warriors #4: Rising Storm” by Erin Hunter.
