Sixth graders at Mars Area Centennial School will join in a Reading Relay from 1 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 21.

As part of the competition-style academic event, sixth grade teams will answer questions about various books — “The Hunger Games” by Suzanne Collins, “So This is Love” by Elizabeth Lim, “A Rover’s Story” by Jasmine Warga, “Flush” by Carl Hiaasen, “The Eyes and the Impossible” by Dave Eggers, “Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus” by Dusti Bowling, “New Kid” by Jerry Craft — while running relays.

In the event of inclement weather, the Reading Relay will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26.
