Collaborative Art Project
Members of Mars Area Centennial School’s JAM Club are continuing work on a collaborative art project to promotes kindness throughout Mars Area School District and its schools.
In November 2019, the JAM Club began collecting bottle caps and jar lids that are being used to create multi-color murals with positive messages and unique designs. The students started the project with several smaller murals that will be displayed in the school and in other District buildings and then began work on a larger mural.
BOTTLE CAPS/JAR LIDS NEEDED
Mars Area Centennial School’s JAM Club is seeking donations of bottle caps and jar lids, which will be used to make a collaborative art piece that promotes kindness. Donations of washed and cleaned caps/lids may be dropped off at the school’s main office, Monday through Friday during school hours. Caps/lids may include those from water bottles, baby food containers, food jars, etc. For more information, call (724) 625-2601.
